The customer vehicle you drive MAY have a sign on the rear that reads, “How’s My Driving? Call 1-800-…”
Remember that you look like an employee of the vehicle owner when you transport a vehicle with that company’s logo and identification on its sides.
Public image is VERY IMPORTANT to our customers.
They WILL get phone calls at the 800 number if you are seen changing lanes carelessly; driving too fast for posted speed limits; cutting off another driver; texting or talking on a not-hands free device.
Please appreciate the fact that when our customer gets a negative report on your driving, their first call is to the safety department at MTI. They ask that we (1) interview the driver about his unprofessional performance, (2) discipline the driver for disregarding the importance of safety and image, (3) report back to them both the results of the interview and the discipline assigned.
A negative report can result in your service being banned by the customer.
